3 Tips For Younger and Healthier Looking Skin

Tip #1

We have all heard that you need to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated, but did you know that this is also an excellent anti aging skin care treatment. If you do not believe me think about this. Your body is made up of what percentage of water? The correct answer would be 70%. During the course of any given day, we are told to drink 8 glasses of water (pure filtered water since straight tap water contains chemicals that can actually case damage to your health). One way to help in the dehyration of your body and the loss of water that your body uses to help keep your skin naturally moisturized, is to drink caffeinated drinks such as cokes or coffee. If your urine is dark yellow when you urinate, this is a sign that your body is dehydrated. This means that your body is dehydrated and needs water so be sure to drink plenty of water.

Tip #2

One point that any anti aging skin care guide should be quick to point out is the need for a diet that is filled with green vegetables. Why green vegetables such as collard greens or celery? In order to help filter these radicals out of your bloodstream and to counter the negative effects of free radicals, you should eat plenty of rich leafy greens. Molecules that travel through your body causing damage, especially to your skin, are free radicals. The constant attacks of free radicals on the cells of our body, is the main reason for damage to our skin as we age.

Tip #3

As we all know, overexposure to direct sunlight will cause damage to your skin, but did you also know that overuse of sunscreen will also help to hasten the aging process of your skin. In order to help your body produce vitamin D and remain healthy, you need some exposure to sunlight. In order to protect yourself from damage from the sun, you need to wear some type of protective clothing such as a hat as well as some sunscreen, but you need to be choose an appropriate sunscreen because the different types of chemicals used in sunscreen can help to cause destruction to your skin.
